About
Santia Pace
For over 20 years Santia has been a professional cosmetologist. However, haircare has been in her family since birth. Santia had one aunt in particular that impressed on her the importance of haircare within the black community. She would style Santia’s hair using haircare products and made sure that her hair bows matched her outfits. This created such an impression that when Santia got older, she would look at other women and imagine how she could style their hair.
In 2010, Santia noticed how black women started reverting back to wearing their natural hair and the market had products that weren’t healthy or even working for textured hair. After studying the ingredients of many of the products she noticed that products contained petroleum which blocks the hair follicles and left a residue on the hair. After researching the products, she decided to move forward and create a product that would be made for the black woman that has textured hair.
Santia began making the hair tonic which became very popular in the black community. From there she created the hair butter and finally came up with a line that she uses on all of her clients.
